4/10/2011 Hi Soccer Players and Fans!

The DCHS Men's Soccer Booster organization will have a few topics to discuss at the meeting on Tuesday, April 12, however, there is one event that is coming up very quickly that we need your help with.

On Saturday, April 16th, we will be working the DSL Concession Stand at Avery Park as one of our fundraising events. The shift hours are 8:15AM - 11:45AM and 1:45AM - 3:30PM. Shifts include set-up and clean-up time and require a minimum of 2 - 3 Adults and 4 - 6 Players. Please look at your calendars to volunteer as we will have a sign-up sheet at the meeting on Tuesday.

In addition we are looking for somebody to take over as Chairperson(s) for this event. If interested, please let us know.

 Apparel Sales
Description of Event: Select vendor and apparel items to sell for the season
 
 Tailgates
Description of Event: Coordinate tailgate at home games
 
 Ball Boys/Girls
Description of Event: Need ball boys/girls for each home games and playoff games.  Booster 
will supply snacks for ball boys/girls.  Free to enter games.  Can come up with other ideas to 
attract ball boys/girls.  DSL and Dublin United, Team Ohio, OP/Eagles.
 
 End of Season Banquet
Description of Event: Select facility, determine cost and all things (invitation, gifts, awards, 
logistics, etc) related to banquet
 
 DSL Concession
Description of Event: Coordinate with DSL on dates and get volunteers to work on assigned 
dates
 
 Football Parking
Description of Event: Work with Tony Pusateri on football parking dates and get volunteers to 
work on assigned dates
 
 Game Day Rosters
Description of Event: Gather opposing team’s roster and produce game day rosters for home 
games

 Dublin Irish Festival
Description of Event: Contact and coordinate with the City of Dublin to work at concession 
booth.  The Coffman Soccer Boosters have been manning a soft drinks booth in the last few 
years.  The lead volunteer will also coordinate our volunteers to work different shifts
 
 Locker Decoration – Varsity, JVA and JVB
Description of Event: Decorate Varsity, JVA and JVB team players’ lockers on game days.
 
 Meet the Teams Night
Description of Event: Coordinate logistics with Steve on tasks of Meet the Teams Night.  Items 
such as location, date, food, etc
 
 Old Uniforms and Equipments Sales
Description of Event: Coordinate sales of old Coffman soccer uniforms and equipments
 
 Picture Day
Description of Event: Coordinate with Photo Company to take team and individual pictures for 
program, web site and other purposes.  
 
 Press Box – Varsity, JVA, JVB
Description of Event: Need announcer, music coordinator, scoreboard/timer, spotters.  
Minimum 3 volunteers.  Ideally 5 per game
 
 Program
Description of Event: Coordinate with company to create program, solicit sponsors for Program 
ads. Work with the Girls program to create one program
 
 
 Senior Night
Description of Event: Generate ideas for Senior night; coordinate events and get volunteers to 
assist with Senior Night tasks
 
 Shoot for the Cure
Description of Event: Coordinate Shoot for the Cure event to raise fund for the Stephanie 
Spielman Fund For Breast Cancer Research
 
 Soccer Poster
Description of Event: Work with players to come up with poster idea, solicit sponsors to cover 
cost of poster, and select company to create poster as well as coordinate the date for shooting  the 
poster.
 
 Team Meals – Varsity, JVA and JVB
Description of Event: Coordinate team meals for varsity, JVA, and JVB players and coaches on 
game days.
 
 Youth Night
Description of Event: Coordinate Youth Night event at home game
 
 Spirit Committee
Description of Event: Promote Coffman Soccer.  Encourage attendance.  Create fun 

environment for players and fans.
